Maintenance Tip # 1

Regular Maintenance insures trouble-free operation.

Daily Maintenance:

(1) Check and maintain oil level.

Always use a single-viscosity, non-detergent oil.

* ( 55 F or more ) SAE 30.

* ( 32 - 55 F ).......SAE 20.

* ( 32 F below )....SAE 10.

(2) Drain condensate water from receiver by manual drain.

If equipped with an automatic tank drain,

check to ensure that it is operating.

(3) Check for unusual noise or vibration

Maintenance Tip # 2

Weekly:

(1) Check oil in the compressor and add oil as necessary.

(2) Clean compressor - especially the intercooler and aftercooler.

(3) Drain condensate water from receiver.

(4) Clean air intake filter. Do not wash. Blow dirt from element from inside with light air pressure.

(5) Check belts for tension or ware each week. Belt tension should be adjusted to allow Approximately 3/8 - 1/2 inch deflection with normal thumb pressure.

Maintenance Tip # 3

Monthly :

(1) Repeat weekly Procedures.

(2) Change compressor oil and air intake filter. (If compressor runs more than 8 hours a day or is in a dirty environment .)

In light duty and clean environment, change every 3 months.

(3) Check for air and oil leaks and correct.

(4) Tighten all hardware.

(5) Always make sure crankcase vent (breather) is free and unobstructed when changing or checking oil.
